I finally received my SVI Tiki today after a LONGGGG holiday weekend wait! Paperwork filled out Friday- FFL closed Sun. and Monday.
It is unfired, but I am the second owner. It is just beautiful- the sight picture will take some getting used to, as 2 tritiums are located on the back of the slide, and 2 are located on the front side of the slide (in the recessed channel). A groove also spans the length of the top of the slide and barrel. The slide to frame fit is tight, and very smooth. Very little creep in the trigger, and a crisp break at approx. 4.5#. I'll provide a range report in a couple weeks, I won't be anywhere near a range for a while due to other obligations :-(

Since he's the second owner, I'm wondering if he knows whether or not it has that setup. Its a hell of a system, as you know. ;)

So, you ever gonna fire it, or just mount it in a shadow box?

pretty cool looking, it is sure different than the normal 1911!
Color me very jealous. Very nice. I don't know if I could ever justify the asking price for a TIKI, but some sort of SVI is definitely on my short list of 1911s to own.
Oh and I think we need more pics...many more lol.

They're all expensive.
Congratulations! I actually got to hold one of those once. Kinda my dream gun.

Infinity builds one hell of a gun.
Mine is probably the most accurate 1911 I own.
Oh, that poor thing, look what they did to it!
Kidding aside, that is very nice work and I expect it will run like a ferret on speed.

wow... all titanium... I feel sorry for that machinist's bits!!!
Beautiful gun, I can't wait to be able to legally.. and intellectually be capable of making something like this.
Kudos on the purchase...mind if I ask what it set you back?
