Looks pretty sweet and sounds like a real fighting 1911. I'd like to know more about the Fail Zero finish. Wonder how it wears and how it compares to hardchrome?

I read that and it seems like a great pistol. I saw an ar15 bolt kit for sale with that same zero fail finish.

The finish looks and sounds like the NP3 from Robar.

Looks like a great build from a great custom builder, though I hate vertical front serrations.

I did see it. I went to thier website as well.

ALmost $3K for what is billed as a "no-nonsense" fighting pistol that is not for tactical hi-speed, low drag spec ops folks according the to author of the article.

Ill Pass. If I was gonna spend another $3K Im getting a another Nighthawk Predator for my slow speed, high drag applications although I do like the looks of the pistol and Im sure it is a great shooter.

If I was going to spend almost $3K on a 1911 it certainly wouldn't say Made in Brazil on the frame.

I gotta agree, but that probably does save some on cost. Plus, C&S goes over everything on it with a fine tooth comb. There's alot of info over on the LTW site about it, but I didn't know if very many people on here were on there too. It may be made on the Brazil frame, but it is supposed to be one of the most reliable 1911's out there and if it's good enough for SEALS, then it'll do anything I'll ever ask of it.

I agree but I don't think a BG would ever notice it. Hopefully not anyways.

I'd prefer a Single Sided safety and I think the FCS look ghey but probably serve some purpose? The slide stop would have to go for me, I don't need a diving board sticking out hitting my thumbs.
