Hello, new to this forum. Just picked up another Glock, 17 1st gen. Question, do I upgrade to shoot it once or twice a month? Or buy another 9mm to shoot and keep the 1st gen. it in it's original configuration in the tupper ware box? I'm sorta new to Glock, but the 26 gobbles up anything I feed it, the 22c just about the same.

Thanks for your time,
Jeff

Safety upgrades will not affect the value of this gun so I recommend you verify it has been done. Your first gen may be worth $$ in another 20 years, right now they are not in demand so consider it a shooter and have a BLAST.
Keep it? Sure! If you can afford it, buy another.

Thanks JR, I sent an email to the armorer but no response yet. I understand some of those parts are for 3 pin and /or 2 pin? Do I really need the new firing pin? Looks like it's stainless? Mine won't get wet.

If your gun is a first gen you will need 2 pin parts. Glock Inc will give you all the parts for free. Contact them direct
