Congrats brother. We have two new guns but old stock of the 9mm milspecs in my local store and I'm seriously considering buying one of them for the $600 price tag. Would make a good base gun for a 9mm build.

I picked up this one for $550 shipped. I wish I knew what the original grips look like so I can try and find a set.

Gregg,
He does. Especially when I pick up multiple guns and he has to do additional paperwork to turn into the ATF. The two from you get here on Monday and I have one more coming from Titusville, FL on Tuesday. That gives me three to pick up this week. I ordered some nice Rosewood double checkered grips for the CDP. They should be here in a day or two. I tried to make a trade with a guy in Georgia for another 1911, but he backed out. His loss. Anyhow, pics of your former 1911s will be up Monday afternoon.

Congrats those are two good looking guns James. You're on a roll and just picking up steam.
They look like nice additions... I once had both the 9mm and .40S&W in Springfields of that era, and both came with full-checkered walnut grips.
They were solid performers.
Congrats James.
They look very nice.
