I've really caught the flashlight bug - especially after being on the Candlepower Forum for several weeks now.

I got an Inova Xo3 last year, and have used it as an EDC light for a year. I was satsified with it until I caught the bug. Now, I have brighter and better, and I'm not satisfied with the XO3 anymore.

I also bought a couple of Coleman LEDs at Wal-Mart for household duties. Got the bug - and returned them after they were not bright enough for me compared to my other newer lights...

I bought an Inova T2-MP at 140 lumens several weeks ago, and was blown away by it. I got it because I was already familiar with Inovas (I also have 2 Inova XOs, and I mounted 'em on each of my carbines - 5 hr battery life with decent light). But then I started seeing brighter and brighter lights online, and read more and more reviews and got familiar with other brands.

Now I am into Eagletac lights. I just got a EagleTac P20C2 MKII in a few days ago. Wow. Unless you jump to the larger sized lights (like the TK40), this pretty much out does everything in its size class.

Now, I just ordered the tactical version of the same light - the EagleTac T20C2 MKII.

Where will it end.... Now, I am not satisfied with my Inovas at all...

you might want to try the streamlight TLR-1. i also have a flashlight addiction and have found this light to be very nice.

I've had a few different weapon lights over the years. Right now, I have none. But, my nightstand gun is also my carry gun - and it's not railed (a Beretta 92FS). So, I don't need a weapon light at the current time.

I have been thinking of getting an X300 eventually, though,

I almost went with a Fenix TK11, but opted for the two Eagletacs instead. I got the "P" model first, and liked it so much that I ordered the Eagletac "T" model a few days later. I think that the "P" model, which happens to be cheaper too, is my fav. It has a little more flood, is smaller, and the extra throw of the "T" model doesn't really reflect too much in real world use.

Check out O-Light.

I am with you on the Olight, try the M30 Triton. Love my Streamlights, have had them since the 80's but can't compare to the Olights.

Well, the Olight M30 was on my list, but the pulse modulation thing bus me - I already have problems with fluorescent lights - where I see them flickering when others do now. I've read from many sources that they can see this effect in the M30 at low and medium settings. So, I've kinda taken it off my list.

I have the streamlight TLR-1 and I must say it is bright as all get out for a weapon light. I love it. For duty use I carry a streamlight stinger DS LED, which is awesome also. It has a high, medium, and low output as well as strobe feature. I also have a streamlight SL-20X LED, again, it's awesome.

Hi,

Nice collection...

The Eagletacs 800 emitter lumens are nice, but you will only see 500ish real OTF lumens. I know I tested it.

The EagleTacs XP-G R5 small lights are freaking insane though. They all make 300~330 OTF lumens at just 1A of current or 4 watts of power:shocked: I purchase Eagletacs for my family members who want quality without the ubber dubber expense of fancy lights...like mine.

Here are some of mine:

:wow: Criminety!

You must have $1,000 in flashlights on that shelf.

But hey, more power to you. There are much worse things you could spend it on...and those are some really nice flashlights.

You need a WiseLED.

You need a WiseLED.

Wise LED offers what they consider a real 2000 Out the front lumens. They claim 7 LED's = 2000 lumens, but their website doesn't say what type of LED's they are.

I have a VARAPower2000 sold at lambdalights.com
http://www.lambdalights.com/varapower.html

I measured this one and it has an SSR-90 at 10~13A fully regulated and delivers 2100ish OTF lumens:wow::wow::wow::wow: Since; its a single LED and not 7 like the WiseLED it has way way more throw too.

I measured alot of 2000 lumens lights from SR90's~howitzer tripple MC-E's and all of those (2 of each as samples) only do 1400~1500 OTF lumens:crying:

I would like a WiseLED just to see how close to 2000 lumens it actually gets.

I found a page of actual lumen testing on CPF - the M2XC4 was checked at:

EagleTac M2xC4 652.3 lumens for 1 sec and 603.8 lumens for 30 secs

I tested the SR90 and it does 1480ish real OTF lumens and by 3 minutes its down to 1200ish OTF.:crying:

The throw is in the 95k lux at 1 meter, so it does have plenty of that.
