G27 barrel in G26 slide, G27 mags in G26 frame

I know that the 26/27/33 frames are all the same. None are stronger than the other or pretty much different in dimensions. What about their slides, do they differ much from one another?

I'd want to use my G27 barrel in my G26's slide and my G27 mags for the G26 frame. Could that be done without any harms to the G26's slide & frame? :embarassed:

No that is impossible. The 40 cal barrel is larger in the breach face and diameter. It will not fit the 26 slide.
You can convert your G26 into a 40 by simply installing a complete top end and using a G27 mag
