HELP!!! Wet magazine recovery!

Hey guys, I was shooting last night here in NE, when a huge thunderstorm hit and we had to get in the cars an GO. Anyway, in the rush I left a fully loaded magazine outside in this downpour. (Can't believe it...will be more careful in the future) Went back and picked it up today. I assume the ammo is ruined, but as for the magazine, do I need to give it special attention or will it be okay on it's own?

WHAT? You seem worried?
The magazine should have leaked out the water. If it still has water in it, poor it out. You don’t even have to unload the mag, just flip it upside down and let the water run out. You are good to go. The ammo will be fine. When your done at the range you can disassemble the mag or simply hit it with compressed air to dry it out.
