Nice!!!
is that NP3?
It is. The full treatment.
that's what i thought. i like NP3 :)
Beautiful! NP3 is one of the BEST finishes imho...and it looks SO sweet! How long was your turn around time? I haven't sent one to Robar for some time and wondered how long your wait was. I am reallly wanting to send in one of my 1911's...and I think your picture might just have convinced me! So THANK YOU!
Last one I sent was my Beretta...

NP3 is a great treatment. The best qualities of nickel, mixed with some Teflon!

Notice, too....it's a Series I.
Good looking Kimber, it's a shame they don't do that same melt treatment for the newer CDPs.

That looks great! I'm having Chuck bobtail and refinish my CDP Pro in a stainless colored Cerakote. Your's turned out great.

I was noticing that they really backed off of the melt. I like the "bar of soap" look on these pistols.

Yeah, the new CDP IIs don't have nearly as pronounced a melt.
Very nice indeed:thumbsup:
Nice looking finish you got there. Congrats!

that's what i thought. i like NP3 :)
I do as well.
Great stuff.
Very nice.
This reminds me that I need to get the frame done on my Franken-Build. The top is already blue, so I think just the frame for a nice two tone look. I am looking at Robar's web site and I see they offer packages for NP3 and NP3 Plus. Which did you get? Anyone know the advantage of the "Plus"?

John,
Hi, Just wondering, what is NP3?, where can you have this done, is it expensive?
I wondering if it wears well, nice option to have parked finish replaced I assume. Looks absolutely fantastic. Looks very similar to the finish C&S used on the trident pistol featured in Combat Handguns. IT also was nickel composisiton I beleive it minimized the need for lube.
Thank You

Robar does it. Its a hybrid nickel/teflon coating. This has the full $400 treatment....everything, internals and 2 mags.

Oh gosh, that did it, I am looking at having this done now, my wife hates me again for now, but at least it isnt a new gun, from her perspective, actually looking at the trident
