cd burning questions

I cant get my car cd system to play cd's I burn on my computer.I have quite an old collection and instead of carrying this huge stash of cds around, Id like to burn to only a few to listen to while driving.

They will play fine off my computer cd player but wont play at all in my honda cd player.Im using windows media player most recent programs and running xp standard.

What format are you burning them in?

yeah, not all car cd players can just play anything. I'd check the options that specifically say "this will play in a car audio cd" Or an option for an 'audio cd' something like that.

Unless your card cd player specifically says "mp3 compatible" etc.

sounds like you may be burning a data disc, make sure that you are doing audio specific...

yup, they play in a portable cd player as well,which I think is mp3 compatable. no good at all in my factory honda cd player.

How do I change it to burn audio and not data?
