Out of desperation because I wasn't able to get the rings that I wanted, I got a set of weaver rings for the weatherby and some red head (bassproshop) rings for the ragingbull. BUT when I got home I notice that both scopes had move all the way back, I always heard that you r not suppose to tight the rings to much becasue you can crack the tube. But how much is to much? &. How do I know when is not enough? Apparently my were not tight enough! Maybe I need a set of gunsmith screwdrivers to check for torque. Any suggestions?
