Just aquired this one...should be here by the end of the week. These are the stock photo's from the dealer/seller...so I will get a few more pics posted when it is officially in my hands!:supergrin: I have heard GREAT things about the American Classic II, and have handled a blued one of these and found the fit and finish to be outstanding for a 1911 in this price range...or a much higher price range for that matter! I don't think this one will disappoint either! I have seen a fair amount of the blue ones, but haven't seen too many of the HC versions...so I had to jump on it! I will be replacing the grips on her, but that is really about it! I LOVE the clean look of the slide on the right side. Wish it were the same on the left side, but I can live with it.

Thanks guys! I really love a nice blue 1911...but this HC just really stood out to me. It might satisfy my need to send one off for chroming...at least for now!:whistling:

Thanks! It will be either Alumagrips (Slim, Tactical, half-checkered) or G-10's from Mil-Tac or VZ Grips. If I go the G10 route, I will get the black/grey color in a diagonal pattern. I love both the G10's and Alumagrips, so I am having a hard time deciding! I like my grips on the "slim" side.
