OooOooOo... i think I just died... I have been looking for another 610 for a long time, but the price always seems to be wayyyyy out of my ball park... Unfortunately, I dont like to deal with the hassel of shipping and the risk of things getting lost in the mail. Thanks for the post though...

I been wondering if you can drive the 10mm to the max with the 610 because its stronger then a semi. Won't it also shoot the other 10mm? I forget what it is but not 10mm auto.

I loaded my 610 up with some pretty hot 10mm rounds for hunting pigs using 180 and 200 gr XTPs. The recoil was on par with my .44, but I never graphed the velocity, so I dont know for sure. I sure do miss my 610... And usually when I see one thats for a great price, I dont have the extra funds to buy it. I could use 40 S&W in it for practice if I didnt want to waste 10mm ammo.

I dont know for sure if you could shoot the 10mm Mag out of it. That would be something to research though...

This is what I found out abot the 10mm Mag and the 610, about 1/3 the way down the page...http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.bren-ten.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/10mm_mag_comparrison.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.bren-ten.com/website/id7.html&usg=__jxYFMANQC_iHMQCdtn9ZR3CLPnk=&h=333&w=388&sz=20&hl=en&start=6&um=1&itbs=1&tbnid=eB185doTAlfdvM:&tbnh=106&tbnw=123&prev=/images%3Fq%3D10mm%2Bmagnum%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DX%26tbs%3Disch:1

To shoot 10mm magnum ammo, you need to have the cylinder rechambered for the longer round but it has been done.
