Which is your preference? I have an arched MSH right now on my SA milspec but I think I would prefer a flat MSH.
Arched for me, Esp with a short trigger.
whatever works better for you.
the flat works for me.
now if it's looks alone, i would go with flat since i have a flat trigger and the world is flat too.

+1
I've always liked the feel and the way it points of a short trigger and an arched housing. This is the set up I like for point shooting.
Though the flat and the long trigger do seem to be better for target shooting.
I prefer arched for a short trigger, flat for a long.

I like the look and feel of flat.
I prefer flat, but own many GI replicas and real USGIs with arched and love them.
Here's a few...

I also have this full house custom build from EGW with an arched MSH.

The flat is way more comfortable to me. I feel like I have better control of the pistol.

i just put in the wilson combat V-grip MSH in my champion operator. i like it a lot. it's good if you're not %100 with either the flat or arched one.

Arched with a long trigger and regular thickness grips. I got big hands.

Honestly, I have small hands. I thought about changing the MSH or trigger, but its very easy to reach.

not enough of my finger wrapped around the medium trigger on my champion operator, so i fit an ed brown short reach one. less than $20 on brownells, good option for you :)

I shoot mostly with the tip of my finger. The flat trigger and arched MSH on my EGW works fine for me, actually.
Its an awesome shooter. :)
I like the flat:supergrin:

Yeah. Is yours parkerized? If so, let's do it.
All I've owned are arched.
Edmo
With the flat one the point of aim is low to me.
With the arched it is almost right on.
So my preference is the arched one,I only have 1 with the flat housing, and if it wasn't made in 1918 I would change it
Personnal preference as to which feels better in the hand. All of my 1911's have the flat mainspring housing.

Honestly, I have small hands.

Flat msh and a short trigger work well for me. I also have arched msh and short trigger and like that too. I really don't like long triggers.
Definitely flat for me...second would be the "wedge" from Ed Brown or the V-grip from Wilson Combat.
Arched or wedge points better for me.
