I am looking for a new, kydex, IWB holster for my G26. I have been using a CompTac, but the belt clip snapped off. I would like a kydex IWB holster with a replaceable belt clip or strap. I have never used a J-hook or leather strap system. I am looking for input on those attachments vs the belt clip. I would be interested if anyone has experience with the Blade-Tech IWB or Galco Triton or Fist K9.

I mainly use Blade-tech (http://www.blade-tech.com/NANO-IWB-pr-1141.html#product_images) or Raven (http://www.themalabarfront.com/index.php?cPath=82). Both are great. However, I have started carrying the Raven more often...I think it's a bit more streamlined, plus it is very modular. Either way you go, both are comfortable and effective.

I've used Blade-Tech IWB's w/straps since 1997 and have been 100% satisfied.

Check out your options at www.blade-tech.com

The ravens, also excellent, are at www.themalabarfront.com but may take a little longer to get.

Comptac sells leather straps that replace the belt clip. Uses the same holes, and screws, as the belt clip, and the leather straps snap over your belt.

If you wanna convert to a Blade Tech go with the NANO, the kydex is thinner at .080 and is very comfortable cause of its adjustable straps.

CrossBreed has metal clips. Very nice holsters and some with heavy kydex.

Good Luck

Thanks for the info guys. My comp-tac was the old style that has a belt clip can't be changed. I ordered the Blade-Tech IWB universal. I'm waiting for it to arrive and eager to give it a try.
