View Full Version : Sync'ing Files With A ThumbDrive
Anyone know of a good, free download that I can use to sync files between a desktop and a ThumbDrive?
Or are there any ways to do this with any Windows7 apps?
You may want to look at 'SyncToy' from Microsoft. It's a free application

Another free option, and the one I use is 'rsync'. It's designed more for syncing over a network than for local drives but you can use it either way.
Thanks Jimmy. Sync Toy looks good.

Big fan of rsync. Very powerful and flexible. I back up my home systems to a usb drive with it and have a rsync server at work to back up laptops.
Forget the thumbdrives & use SugarSync. (http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-3554860-10672273)
