Ummmm if you believe 2 owners and "only 150 rounds". :whistling:

$1800 with free shipping to my FFL, who charges $20, puts this gun in my hands for $1820. I know it's used, but only slightly and it's already hardchromed. :whistling:...Here's how I can talk myself out of it. FCS and it doesn't have the 1.5" guarantee. There. That was easy

Seems to be a fair price for a hard chrome TRS.
I would DEMAND more pics, would want to verify wear
I say no for two reasons
1. A new HC TRS from my dealer would have cost me around $2000 OTD. To me a used pistol equals a 10-20% decrease, regardless of the claimed condition. John at Proload would probably have one in stock, with or without FCS's for a similar price.
2. Since someone other than Baer did the HC I am pretty sure the warranty would be void. That alone would make it an easy choice for me.
No, I actually wouldn't may more than about $1400. Maybe not even that.
If it was the factory finish and no other alterations, maybe.

Yeah I prefer the non-FCS too. JMHO. If I ever get a Baer, this is it....without the FCS or HC.
In my experience, Les Baers do not retain much value.

No less than any other semi custom.

Well hell,...if that's the case, then I'm gonna wait and find one for about $500

I seen several Baers that were built some years ago sell for more than what they cost new. :dunno:

I can send you to someone who can get you a factory HC TRS for Just under $2100 configured any way you want and you only have to put 50% down and it will come in 4 months.
To me the extra $200 something would be worth it for brand new and the peace of mind, not to mention the warranty.
But that's just me.

When did you get your FFL FM?
Or, do you get some kinda cut?

It's a Baer, and it looks clean so I'd guess if it's 150 or 1500 it doesn't matter.

I love my Les Baer, but $1800 for a used chromed TRS is really high. It's a good deal if it's factory new, or even lightly used and still under warranty, but that pistol is neither. I'd let it go and not give it a second thought.
$1800 isn't high for a Baer chromed by Virgil Tripp. Sorry but he's THE best and doesn't do it anymore.

It's a better deal if it's a Tripp chrome job, but it says he's got no paperwork or reciepts. All of my 1911's were worked over by Larry Vickers, but I lost all my reciepts also.

 You have some nice ass 1911s. Where's the signature love brother?
I think that any used gun, especially semi-custom guns, if you can get them for 5-10% less than the street price (not msrp) it is a great deal. If later on you decide to sell it you will pretty much get your money back or be down between $50 to $100 (which IMHO is awesome considering it is the price you pay to rent the gun for as long as u want).
Now for the gun in question I am not sure since it has been HCed by someone else other than LBC.

Yeah, I'm sure you're right. That looks like a piss poor chrome job even with those pics :whistling:..... he never did polished flats with a matte frame either.
