Nikon M-223

Saw the add for the Nikon M-223's in the most recent American Rifleman. I checked out their website and Midway USA for pricing and they don't look too bad. Anyone have any experience with them? I'm looking at one of the 3-12X42 variants for a new AR build I'm working on.

What type of AR are you building and at what distances will you be shooting?

I use a red dot without magnification on my ARs out to 100 yards or so. My ARs have 16" or shorter barrels (registered SBRs).

Seems like 3x-12x magnification is a bit of overkill if you're not going out several hundred yards.

i have a ton in stock, but depending on the distance, it could be a little over kill. also keep in mind those scopes in the bdc configuration are for a specific bullet
