Thats funny. I do not mean this in any way but in jest, but why are so many 1911 guys afraid of having some sort of "tactical" moniker on thier 1911? I see these comments all the time " I like my Ed Brown but I wish he would not have called it a Special Forces" or I like that new Wilson pistol but I hate the "Spec Ops" name. No one is going to think you are a mall ninja if you do not act like one.

Actually I am going to start a thread on this.

I had an older TRP (Circa 1999 vintage). I traded it for a Sig p239 and a lot of cash. Best deal I ever made off of a pistol. That TRP was a pig. My friend who purchased it has basically had it rebuilt by Springfield over several trips for all sorts of problems.

Long story short (too late I am sure), you are not losing out.
