147 grain JHP from one of the premium labels. Your choice.

I would stick with whats been proven effective in actual shootings. I carried a 9mm on my former agency (NYPD) and was issued Speer Gold Dot 124 +P GDHP. The New Jersey State Police carry 9mm Speer Gold Dot 124 GDHP in standard pressure. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me. No mater what you use, shot placement is everything. Just my .02

Do you have the new or old recoil spring assembly? If you are still using the older one, go with something kinda stout, probably +p something or another (lots of good ones out there). If you have the new one anything shoult work. Functional reliability is issue #1, and the only way you are going to figure out what functions best in your pistol is to try it out.

My guess is its the spring it's brand new. it might require some more "breaking in" time.

I no longer have issues with rem umc 115gr. As of today my glock isn't fussy about 'plink' ammo. I will stick with american eagle as it's more cost effective in terms of budget.
My new home defense round is Magtech 115gr +p which feed well; no FTE FTF or any jam of any kind. Plus they pack some punch! no pun intended
