P30L; Custom Combat; Combat Competition

I have a P30 in 9mm that I really like and I would like to add a Full-size (4.5" - 5") 9mm pistol that will be used mainly for target practice and maybe some competition uses later on. So what would best compliment the P30? I found three HK products that might fit the bill:

1) P30L (SA/DA or LEM)
2) USP Custom Combat (SA/DA)
3) USP Combat Competition (Match LEM).

Has anybody had experience with these pistols? And if so, please explain your experiences. (I have to admit, I'm also looking at a P226 and the XDM.)

I like my Custom Combat. Nothing really special about the trigger on paper, but I have shot enough USP's to realize there is something a little better about it. Mine is .40 and shoots very soft so the 9mm must be even softer. :)
