Under North Carolina law, is it legal to carry in church?

Trying to get a straight answer about this, and Google isn't helpful. I am taking the CCW class this Saturday but we take a test when we first get there. I know that you cannot carry in on "educational property," so does that mean church if there are Sunday school classes?

Thanks.

I just completed a CCW class a couple of weeks ago. I don't recall anything specific to church's being mentioned. I wouldn't think school guidelines would apply, so as long as it wasn't an event where admission was charged I think you would be okay, but I'm no lawyer.

If the church has a school for any grade level pre-K thru 12+ then it's off limits. Sunday school isn't what their referring to. Here's the law as written.
