remember him? he was that guy who designed the steyr pistol. unfortunately steyr stopped producing that pistol afaik. lucky some arabs got hold of him, they made him design another pistol.... or him and a bunch of other european designers. this is the gun,

caracal (http://www.caracal.ae/caracal/products.asp?caracal-f/402)

Looks really good. Grip angle looks near perfect and bore axis is very low. Kinda reminds me of the HK P7 because of the high grip and low profile slide design.

Let's wait for reliability and accuracy reports. This is the first time in a long time that I got excited over a new gun based purely on aesthetics. Hope they post some pics of the internals soon.

I hope it shares Steyr pedigree of being a "steel pistol wrapped in polymer". I also found the Steyr's receiver and rails more robust when compared with the Glock's side by side.

I'm also glad Bubits and his team seem to have not bought into the interchangeable backstrap grip. Kudos also for installing universal rail for commercially available weapons light.

I'd wait for it to be seriously tested before getting making any judgements. I like how it holds 18+1 rds though.
