G22 or G31?

I have much 40 cal and 357 sig brass for reloading. Planning on buying a G22 or a G31 next week.
1. Do I need to get a G22 and a 357 sig barrel or a G31 and a 40 cal barrel and why?
2. Which ever I get do I need to get a Glock factory barrel in the other caliber or an after market barrel?
3. What kind of magazines will I need?

If you purchase a G22 40 S&W pistol you can pick up a G31 357 Sig barrel and drop it right in!
If you purchase a G31 357 Sig pistol you can pick up a G22 40 S&W barrel and drop it right in!
Your choice, it all works out to be the same thing in the end.

We recommend aftermarket barrels (Lone Wolf) because you mention you plan to reload. Our barrels offer maximum cartridge support. This is a good thing for reloaders!

We recommend you always use the correct magazine with each conversion barrel. It is very easy to confuse the ammunition and at a glance you can not tell the difference. Its cheap insurance to help keep you from accidently shooting the wrong ammo out of the wrong barrel.
