View Full Version : Which caliber Taurus snub nose?
I am looking at the Taurus 605 in 357 or the 905 in 9mm. I have 9mm guns/ammo already and will use this gun as a backup gun if all else fails. Should I go 357 or 9mm?
Tough call.
I'm ambivalent of 9mm revolvers due to problems with binding cylinders due to the tapered 9mm case backing out and jamming against the recoil shield. Others have had no problem with their versions. If you have one that works fine, 9mm makes the most sense, but you'll likely make a safer call by going .38sp/.357mag.

If you go with the 905 get your moonclips from TK Custom. They are stainless and a LOT better than the Taurus, S&W, or Midway clips.

If the gun is a backup, what is your primary gun?
