Question for "Bama & Ga. Glockers

My family and I have been traveling from SE Missouri to Southwest Florida once or twice a year since 1991. We've just returned from a week in Orlando and have vowed never to drive I-75 through Atlanta again. I've decided to take I-65 from Nashville South Mongomery and take State Route 82 through Albany to Tifton, Ga. on I-75. What is the condition of Rte 82; 4 lane, speed limits, etc. Would hope to run into a gunshop or two on 82.

I take 231 or 97? (I think, maybe it's 92) down to PC.

Well, Mobile metro area has McCoys (expensive), Quints (small selcation) and a crap load of pawnshops. A&E Guns on Airport Blvd in Mobile is a Class 3 shop. Baldwin County (Daphne/Spanish Fort Exit 35 on I10) has a Bass Pro.
