i wonder if it would have been possible to make it into one receiver. kind of like a break action over under has the two firing pins in the receiver and uses the two (or one) triggers.

It'd be entirely possible to design such a gun, it'd just be heavy and cumbersome as hell. There's a double barrel bolt action rifle, do a google image search.

I was on a forum where the guy who built that posted (THR maybe?). I think he cut up a wooden baseball bat to make the pump handle. :wow:
