Well guys, #52 and #53 arrived this afternoon. My new Cimarron Arms 1911 and EMF Hartford 1911A1 finally made their way into my collection. Since Brian already posted some beautiful pics of the Cimarron, I am posting my typical "red mulch" pics.

Nice! I think I like the smaller rollmarks on the Cimarron better.

Very nice and congrats. They both look great. I'll probably pick up my Hartford in August or so.

I got your message. The frame on your Cimarron does seem a bit more scalloped in the pics. Either way, its no big deal. I think you got the nicer parkerizing. :supergrin:

It is different, but I do like it. Whe you get your Hartford, it comes with two mags. I shared one of them with my Cimarron to give it the proper look.

I noticed your Cimarron had a flush fitting mag.

That Hartford: that's the factory mainspring housing? Odd for them to have that contrast.

That's the way the finish is.

I have one sitting at my local shop and its the same way.
