Well if you have a dutch oven, we always did biscuits and gravy on the coals the next morning...
Biscuits in the top rack when it's hot... as far as the gravy I fry up some Jimmy Dean sage sausage (really different and GOOD), then the usual stuff - couple cups of milk, flour, salt and pepper, then I also do a little garlic powder and definitely worchestershire (however the hell you spell it). Very tasty, and it will stick to your ribs.

im gonna make some chili for a late night meal. Should be a bit cooler out at night when we go so it may hit the spot.

The dutch oven I used to own had a rack on top, but you can wrap them in aluminum foil and put them on some coals on the side of the fire. Turn them occasionally. You could use a pan with a lid if you have one.
