True, you need to spend about $100 or so more.

None of the Kimbers really need any upgrading.

They're all enhanced 1911s.

Went and played with a pro carry today.. Must say it's a nice 1911.. But the more I hold em idk about carrying with a safety.. Might make my next purchase a air weight sw :/ idk guys talk me into it lol

It would be wise to practice with and without ammunition...Presentations from the holster. You'll be sweeping the safety off in no time.

The other side is that YOU have to be comfortable with it. The J-frame airweight idea is always good but...do they chamber those in 45ACP?:tongueout:

However...the gun that you're carrying is 100% more effective than the one stored safely in your trunk.

yea thats the deal now.. my g19 stays on my dresser.. bc well imho i think its a pain to carry.. tried the mtac and all.. settled in a infidel ctac holster.. airweight i can stick in the pocket.. it might not be 45ACP but the smith 340 comes in 357 mag!

That's why I qualified it with, "A little more than $700, but..."

It's not a lot more than 700-ish. It's 800-ish.

When people are discussing 1911s in specific price ranges, we're normally talking new. Its the only way to keep things in perspective.

Yeah no kidding. That's why I was like WHOA?!?! Isn't the TacPro like $1,050-1,100ish new? I remember TacBlack got his NIB for $925 or something which was a smoking good deal.
