Gift ideas for the incoming Woshipful Master

I was the Worshipful Master last year and now I will be installing my best friend as the master of our lodge in December.

I bought myself a very nice Masonic pocket watch for my year in the East and presented it to the lodge after my year to be passed to every worshipful master as my gift to the lodge.

But I would like some ideas for a gift for my friend.

What do you guys think?

A good friend of mine gifted me with a personalised gavel to use during my year in the East. I continued the gesture for the Master who followed me. I think it has become a tradition in the lodge now.

We usually do the gifts for the outgoing Master. I received a gavel, PM Apron, PM Jewel, an engraved fountain pen, and a scrapbook which a PM had been compiling for me. Apron cases are nice too. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. The guys must have thought I did a good job!!!!
