sling for maverick

I picked up a maverick yesterday & want to put a sling on it. The end cap, screw assembly has a threaded hole. Is this hole where you would screw in the sling swivel ? If so where can i get one ? Also, where can i order other parts for the mav.

yea i have a mossy 500 and i am to looking to put a sling on it and im in the same spot as you the cap has a treaded hole but i dont know the proper term of the piece that goes there

I contacted Maverick thinking they screwed up by not including the studs with the gun.They said they would supply one set of studs at no cost.That is what I received from them.tom.:cool:

i didnt get any studs with my mossberg either im gonna try giving them a call
