Unfortunately, I did not make out a seating arrangement when I took the pic. It was enough work just to get everything out, lay it out, pick it up, and put it away.

If I am following your directions correctly, that would be my Colt Officers ACP. That is one that is hard to replace.

Thanks Eddie. I am very proud of it. I have five more 1911s to get before I finish that part of my overall collection. After that, I can start concentrating on the WWII stuff again.

Now all you have to do is ND when packing them away after arguing with your wife and we could have a kick ass Glock vs. 1911 durability conclusion.

What's on the list for the WWII guns? i'm sure you could use one of those converted BAR's OhioOrdance (i think that's who was making them) is making. A Thompson might be on the list as well..but i'm pretty sure you have the collection covered rather well.

One of the first is a Walther P-38. Next is a Japanese Type 14 Nambu pistol. I would like to be able to afford a real STG-44 ($45,000-$50,000), but that is not in the cards. I will probably have to settle for a semi-auto reproduction ($4000-$5000). The BAR ($3500) is on my list as well. I had one ordered a couple years ago, but I changed my priorities and cancelled the order. It can take about a year to get one after it is ordered from Ohio Ordnance Works. A TULA SVT-40 would be nice to have as well. A Thompson M1 is on the list too. I am still looking for a nice WWII Colt 1911A1 too. This is going to be a long tedious process, but well worth it in the end.
