I'm not a rail fan at all, but this gun is interesting to me. I see a cool project out of it. I just wonder if they're worth looking into?
i cannot even find a picture on google. Do you have a link with any info?

My dealer has one and I looked it over. It has nice checkering and solid build quality. The trigger also seems good. That said, I don't buy railed 1911s.
Seeing it prompted me to order the FX45 Military model, which is also nice. Of course it doesn't have the Thunderbolt's features, but its also $200 cheaper. ATIs are built in the Philippines by SAM.

Yeah, I'm not a rail fan at all either, but I wouldn't mind having a cheap one like that, that I might end up doing something too later on.
that isnt a bad looking 1911. Im not huge on rails, but at the same time i dont mind them. I think overall it looks pretty good, definitely needs a different trigger though. Whats the price set on these?

$600-$650
I looked up their website, it looks like a decent enough pistol. There descriptions are soo funny though. They basically say the same thing for every 1911 they make. No specs or anything LOL. If i found one for $600, Id probably give it a go. It has a magwell and front strap checkering, So it has the externals i wish the Spartan came with, but probably not as good internally as the Spartan
That said, I don't buy railed 1911s.
you are missing out, even if you dont plan on attaching anything pick up a mc operator for the collection.
