Has anyone tried these?

Seems like a viable alternative, or addition to, my 12ga Quik-Shok ammo:

What do you think would be best alternative to either sabot/slugs to 00 Buckshot, for SD/HD?

OA, out...

never tried them but the tests for them on the site seem solid. I'm a buckshot man when it comes to the 12g. But these seem to be a great alternative. A buckshot and a slug. Seem a tad bit HEAVY for a SD load.

Interesting design, but slugs offer too much penetration for a HD role IMO.

My 870 is loaded with the Federal LE Tactical 00 buck. It patterns very tight with the "Flitecontrol" wad it has.
