Really looks great! I'm guessing that's a mat hard chrome finish? I love the texturing of the front and back straps, plus the sights added on. Very nice job!!

Not my style, but definitely tip-top workmanship. Ya'lls work never fails to amaze me.

Is the series 80 stuff still in there??

Beautiful Chuck !!! Can you put a set of those sights on my Heritage while it's there ??

pistolwrench

Not hard chrome, bead blasted stainless.

Series 80 parts are present and accounted for.

Wade, expect pics soon. Then we can talk of sights, ok?
By the way, Heinie 'Ledge' rear sight, Rogers' front.

FWIW, I highly recommend Chuck's custom made sights the Tier one (I believe that's what it's called) The depth he adds really draws your eyes to sight picture faster IMHO.

He's putting some kind of "white ball?" sight on my Ultra Carry that he has that he's gold balling right now. It's gonna be sweet.

What kind of badass bushing is on that Colt? Kinda looks like the bushings that Guncrafter uses. :dunno:Whatever it is, it looks very cool. Especially with that awesome "Chuckerized" crown.

Thanks guys!

It's a thick flange EGW bushing that I modified. I've beeh doing them
this way for years.

I to prefer the Tier One rear sight. I've never been a fan of a serrated
blade on a carry gun.

Wade's is up next.

It's a new revolutionary process that Chuck has created for my gun.:rofl:I meant golf balling.:embarassed:

These are the rear sights that I believe he fabricates out of stock novaks. Again, highly recommend someone getting them put on while he's got your gun.

My Tier One rear sights are fabricated from a bar of pre heat treated 4142 Chrome Moly steel, right here in my shop, by me.
I used to modify low mount Novaks for one handed racking and a cleaner sight picture.

Yep, they are going on my Wesson !
Talked to Chuck about it this evening.

Very cool. Can't wait to them. Maybe I should have had Chuck put those on my Ultra that he's working on. I had him do the "white ball" front sight, but didn't know about these until this thread. It just has all black rear sights.

Wade-19

I'm going with all black rear as well. I like it set up that way .
