G27 just broke trigger pin and locking block

I just discovered I had a broken trigger pin and locking block in my G27. I took it apart, because the slide release lever engaged with ammo in the mag. I had this happen once before and a new slide release lever with of course new spring corrected problem.

G27 has I guess about 10K rounds thru it. How common is it to break trigger pin and locking block? And do you think this was cause of my lock back with rounds in the mag?

It is pretty rare to break the LB & LB pin. I have seen less than a doz since the beginning.
Yes you could have had something get out of alignment and cause the slide stop to engage.
