Where do nonlethal methods fit into your idea of self defense? Do you have recommendations regarding stun guns, tasers, electric batons, other electronic incapacitating devices?

Thank you.

You want a spectrum that begins with hand to hand skills. A four hour Kubotan class will leave you very functional with Tak Kubota's self-defense keychain, and the techniques also work well with Mini-MagLite flashlights. Pepper spray is popular for a reason. The gun is at the highest level of force, of course.

Of all the available ERDs (electronic restraint devices) available to the private sector, I would trust only the TASER. Do a Google search for the manufacturer, go to their website, and check to see if it's "civilian-legal" where you are.
