I was originally going for the speer gold dot "duty ammo" being that is it alittle hotter than the civilian version, but Ive read that it has had some failures. I also been looking at the rangers are these any good? Im really confused someone please tell me exactly what to get and when please thanks

IF you looked at my pictures in the the threads below you can get a general idea. My bullet of choice is the Hornady 124 XTP. As soon as my brass comes in I'm going to start loading it myself but the Hornady Custom load is still getting good performance. Some people don't like the way the CorBon fragments but it still gets penetration and hits very hard. I haven't tried the new Win Ranger T but I wouldn't be afraid to carry it either. Pick up some and try them out for yourself. The GDHP is the only one I've tested that failed to expand and over penetrated.

Another vote for Hornady 124 XTP

I have Ranger T's, HST's, and Corbon 125g DPX. Not afraid to carry any of them. Currently have the DPX in my g33 and HST's in the 226.

I vote Gold Dot. The XTP works good, but the Gold Dot has better weight retention. On the XTP, the jacket will separate sometimes too.

I like Speer 125 gr Gold Dot or Winchester 125 gr Ranger T in my G32. I've shot lots of the Ranger T and they are really impressive.

I ordered some ammo from Underwood last week. Easy transaction and shipped very quick. Also, he doesn't gouge on the shipping!

Anyways, this stuff is snappy and shoots great. At 17.00 for a 50 count, I will be ordering a lot more!!

Edit:These are Hollow point by the way and I'd love to seem some ballsitics on this stuff.
