Multi-caliber Glock Question

I am considering putting together a multi-caliber Glock kit using a mid size frame (G19 size) as the basis. The goal is to have as many calibers available as possible.

I am wondering which frame, 19, 23, 32, or 38 would be the best base for this kit. Are there significant frame differences that would limit calibers?

I prefer to use a second generation frame or possibly one of the soon to be available G19 Timberwolf frames, as I like the fit better.


What are your recommendations?

If you start with a Gen3 frame they are all the same! That’s right, all the same frame. All you need for the 9/40/357 conversions is a barrel. LWD has lots of them to choose from. To convert to a GAP you will need a complete top end & TH with ejector. LWD will be offering the GAP slides soon.
Unfortunately the 19/23 TimberWolf frame will not be available until the first of the year.

Thanks for the quick reply. If I start with a second generation frame, say a G23. Will that work as well?

Yes the G23 or G32 is the best place to start
