Lone wolf Shooters range in Pahrump, NV

This started when a couple folks asked about doing a class on September 11th.
As we discussed which course to offer we realized something a little bigger was appropriate both as a memorial to those who were murdered on 9/11 and to help those who wish to be more prepared for the exigencies of life.

So, here's the overall plan:
Rifle class in the morning, followed by an afternoon filled with workshops, shooting competitions, and barbecue.
As the sun sets we'll gather for a candle light ceremony to remember those who have fallen and to remind ourselves that the battle is only beginning.

We'll close the evening with a "bang" in a final live fire event.

The rifle class will run from 9:00 to 1:00 p.m., details at invictustraining.com

Range day opens at 3:00 p.m.
General admission (including workshops and kids range) is free.
Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Right now confirmed workshops are:
Disaster prep
Wilderness first aid
Firearm selection for home defense
Terror threats/weapons of mass destruction

Emergency communications workshop/demo is in the works.

Competitive events will each have a $5 buy in to cover targets and prizes.
Right now we're planning handgun, shotgun, carbine, and precision rifle competition (PR will be short range but demanding, think timed hostage rescue shot from improvised positions at 50m).

There will be some "strange gun" games where you take what we give you and get to work.

Competition courses will probably be "shoot it when you get a chance, best score at the end of the day wins". We'll run some head to head if we have enough shooters here at once.

The final night shoot event will open to everyone who has competed.
