View Full Version : Oops! This page appears broken... ???
I've been getting a LOT of these messages over recent weeks...
Oops! This page appears broken. HTTP 404 - File not found.
I haven't noted any other operational issues with my desktop PC running XP/SP2 and Firefox 3.6.6.
I'm thinking, but not positive, that these started showing up when I updated Firefox a few weeks back, but I've been so darn busy, including travel, that I can't say for sure.
Ideas? Suggestions?
Thanks! :wavey:

Firefox is up to 3.6.8 now. It updates best if you update manually instead of letting it update automatically. Since 3.6.6 the "plug-in container" has been an issue. The latest version is suppose to have some fixes.

Download the latest version and run the installer to manually update Firefox.
OK, update complete. We'll see what happens now.
Thanks. :wavey:
Well, I've had Firefox updated to 3.6.8 now for about two weeks and I'm still getting the messages...

I'm not getting as many as I was, but still getting them.
Any other ideas?

Check if you have any toolbars installed. Some may have been installed automatically. Read here.

Thanks for that link. That was it. The browser bar that PDF Creator installed didn't show on any list or was ever visible. It was identified in the Add/Remove list as "Search 1.2.3".
Again, appreciate it.
