Bart Skelton did a write up on the 10mm, someone needs to buy that man a beer, he is about the only writer I know right now that is keeping the 10 in the shooting publics eye.

Now it's time to head to the bookstore. I've finally got a magazine I want to read.

Thanks for the heads up. Could that be a cool Intrawebs acronynm: TFTHU?

There is a reason the 10 is dying.

There is a reason the 10 is dying.

Is it because:
... most people don't know that it is inherantly more accurate than the .40 S&W?
... the average person cannot take advantage of its versatility by reloading?
... most people prefer the smaller grip of a 9mm pistol chambered in .40 as opposed to a stouter, less flexible, more contollable frame chambered in 10 mm?
... of .40 S&W Marketing bling bling?
... of ignorance, the emperor's new clothes, and some biased FBI testing?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Simply because the ammo manufactoring companies don't keep up with their stock levels in conjunction with affordable prices. The only 10mm ammo I can purchase localy is Hornady 20 rds for USD 24.95. You can read a LOT about the demand out there and a LOT about folks not finding 10mm ammo. Called CheaperThanDirt the other day; they confirmed it.. waiting for Bitterroot Valley.. Georgia Arms is waiting for projectiles.. Thats it..

There are other smaller manufacturers selling it cheaper that have it in stock. Don't be afraid to try new stuff.

well, if it dies, i expect to be able to get brass dirt cheap on closeout...

any calibere that you do not reload for is "dying" as you are dependent on the man for resupply.

RM Ammo discounted their BVAC 10mm fmj from $199/500 to $175/500 several days ago and it's still in stock. How much in demand can it be?
