Picked up the new CQB Elite today:
Here are the specs different than the standard CQB Elite build:
No FCS
Checkering underneath the trigger guard
Rear boot sight
Gold dot front sight
Extreme dehorn
Bulletproof upgrade

Have not shot it yet of course. Fit and finish is excellent as you would expect and the trigger is golden as well. Overall just a beautiful 1911.
As far as the options I ordered the only one I might not do so again is the checkering under the trigger guard. I will see how well it improves handling when I shoot it. The gold bead front sight is outstanding with the boot rear sight, great sight picture, best front sight I have seen on a 1911. The extreme dehorn does not show up well in my pics but in person it is very nice indeed. All and I mean all of the edges are rounded off and it feels great in the hand. The gun has a slightly different look overall due to the dehorn but not so much as to be noticeable unless you look for it.
The FFL I used was a pawn shop and one of the guys there was talking to me while a women filled out some paperwork for the transfer. As we looked at the Wilson he mentioned he was not a 1911 guy because he was too young. He had never heard of Wilson but he did say he liked Kimbers but they were too pricey for him.
Guess he has not price a Wilson. :supergrin:
