Ive been loading 40 and i like WSF @ 5.4gr and always available on the shelf. My brother just got a G29 and i will load for him as well. Im wondering what people like to use with 10mm. W231 is almost always not in stock.

Check out the 10 mm reloading forum on this site or the 10 mm forum on the ar15 armory site for bunches of information. I see a lot of positives on BlueDot and a couple of others I have never used. I have used Unique, Power Pistol, and AutoComp, all with good results in my Delta Elite. WSF should work fine and since you already have some it would seem like a good place to start.

Well, W231 is certainly not the best choice for top end loads in either caliber. Any powder can be made to go bang in any handgun round. Some work better than others. When you get into high pressure rounds, think slower powders for best result if factory vel are to be achieved safely.
In the 40 & 10mm, powders like AA#7, Longshot, PowePistol, BLueDot, 800X, all will give top performance in both. If you just want plinkers, WSF works fine in the 10mm as well as giving top performance in the 40. In fact, it is my fav powder for the 40. For full power 10mm, Longshot is my choice, but the others will work. W231 can be used, but you won't get to factory vel safely in either IMO.

Blue Dot is my personal favorite for both calibers. I have used it exclusively for well over 25yrs. It burns cleaner at higher pressures and works well with the .40sw and 10mm. Only negative is muzzle flash.

But I LIKE it!....

AA7 and AA9 are also good, if you don't like the flash.

I have had good luck with Blue Dot and AA#9 and Power pistol. If they are going to be warm, I try for AA#9, but not always to be had around here. This is out of a G-20, and a Delta Elite(that does not get shot much)

AA#7 is good for both calibers.
It's the bees knees in 10mm for projectiles up to 180 Gr. If you're loading heavier then go with AA#9.

WSF for range loads. Longshot for full power. Longshot works better in lightweight .40 S&W loads than heavy bullet loads. Stick to 165gr or less. Longshot is good with all bullet weights in the 10mm. 9.2gr behind anything 180gr is very accurate and a nice shooter.

WW231 and Titegroup for practice loads with cast bullets. AA#7 for jacketed bullets. Most of my loads use 175-180 gr bullets.

Blue Dot is the only powder I have used for loads in my G29, local Bass Pro always has it in stock.

I like Blue Dot for my 10mm.

+1 I love BD for max loads in auto pistols. I use it in 380, 9mm, 40S&W, 10mm, 45acp and .45Super.
