Glock 36 Safety question

I'm new to Glock. Just got a 36. Nice used gun and in good condition. My question is about the safety. I see pictures of Glocks and the trigger safety sticks out quite a ways from the actual trigger. Mine does not. It is really close to the trigger. I can not pull the trigger unless I also press on the safety. Is that good enough or should I be looking for a different assembly so it protrudes farther?

If you can NOT putt the trigger without first depressing the trigger safety it is fully functional and good to go.
To tell the truth, the more it sticks out the more uncomfortable it is. You got a good one!
