28" barrel for Mossberg 500

Hi, I have a Mossberg 500A with and 18.5 in. barrel. I want to get a 28" barrel for skeet shooting and Duck hunting this fall. I have looked around a little and all the ones for sale are around $150. Well, I can get another used shotgun for about that price. Does anybody know a reputable on-line place I can get a new barrel for my gun for under $100?

Not a new barrel for that price, but there are lots of used ones out there for less.

Coming up shortly in the fall the big retailers like Dicks Sporting Goods usually have the Mossberg 500 combo gun on sale. It comes with a 28" vent rib barrel and a rifled hunting barrel and is usually prices around $250. Buy it, keep the VR barrel and sell the remaining shotgun with slug barrel for $200.

Good idea to buy the combo and sell the rifle while keeping the longer barrel. Never thought of that.:supergrin:
