Glock 20SF Trigger Pull

I have modified my new G 20SF in hopes of lightening the trigger pull and limiting triiger travel. I installed the LWD-342 3.5 lb Connector, LWD-5406 Ultimate Trigger Stop, a Wolff 6 lb Striker Spring, and a Wolff 6 lb Trigger Spring. I now have virtually zero trigger travel after the firing pin releases but the overall trigger pull got heavier. I used a Lyman Digital Trigger Pull Gauge to measure and used two groups of 10 measurements to get a good average trigger pull benchmark before the change and after the change. Before trigger pull = 6 lbs 14.0 ouncesand after trigger pull = 8 lbs 3.5 ounces. What am I doing wrong or what else do I have to do to lighten the trigger pull?

Its my guess you have the over travel screw set too tight. The trigger bar is most likely stopped just short of release and the extra force you apply is pushing it past the stop point. My advise is to back the set screw off by a 1/2 turn and reevaluate.

Thx JR it worked as you said. After trial and error I ended up backing off one quarter of a turn and it dropped all the way down to 4 lbs and 10.1 ounces - very minimum trigger travel after firing pin release and it feels good.
