View Full Version : Model 10 snubby
I finally found a nice RB K frame.
Model 10-5...guessing C prefix and serial about early 60's.
Good shooter, too.

There is just something cool about a K frame snubbie.
No doubt it's a good shooter.
I would like to add a 19 or 66 snub to the collection sometime.

They sure are nice. Hard to beat a RB K-frame. I'm very fond of this one.

Congrats!
Good looking 10, Pennlineman, the bluing appears to be in a little better shape on that one.

Thanks Berto. They are meant to be used. Maybe mine will have a little more character in a year or so. I love those K frames.
I'm at 4 now, couldn't agree more.:whistling:

I know what you mean. I'm up to 5 now and can still think of some more I'd like to have. A 5" model 10 comes to mind quickly. You could spend a lot of time and money just collecting the M-10 variants.
The truth is I like all S&W and ruger revolvers. I'd like to locate a 3" model 37 like the one you posted in another thread. Also a nice 4" 581 if I can find one. I'm starting to appreciate the fixed sight revolvers more now than when I was younger.
I'm eyeballing a minty 6" Security Six at my gun shop right now. If they still have it this weekend I may have to put in on layaway. I would have bought it last week, but they had a real nice, almost NIB 1st gen Glock 17 with all the goodies. So I bought it instead.
I hate when they get in more than one that I'd really like to have.
