View Full Version : Rough trigger
I just got a new Gen3 G23. I broke it in at the range this week end. It is a sweet shooting gun. But, my finger was about to fall off because the trigger feels rough during shooting. My g26's trigger does not feel rough.
I have heard of a trigger with a smooth face being available on some Glock models. Will any fit the G23 as a drop-in?
And I apologize it this question has been asked a million time before.
Thanks in advance,

Glock 22/17 trigger will fit in 19/23. I have the same trigger you have in my 19 and it doesn't really bother me. Hmmm...

You can replace your serrated trigger by dropping in a smooth face trigger/bar made for a Glock 17/22/31 but I would take a look at your current trigger first. Usually the culprit here is the little trigger safety lever that chews up your finger. If you feel any excess plastic molding or sharp edges on that lever lightly sand/file the top, sides, and tip until all is smooth. This can save you $$$ and make a world of difference in comfort. I do this to all new Glocks I buy. The next step is you can also file and smooth out the ridges on that serrated trigger face itself. Best of luck-Bill.
+1 whatsupglock. The other option I've seen used is to remove the trigger and, using fine sandpaper, smooth the existing trigger.
Thanks to you all for the quick replies. For less than $15, I'm going to try the G22 trigger.
