Anyone ever run across this? Just wondering, if I wanted to drop a suggestive message on my spouses cell, with a different number displayed, would I be able to get her reply? I might be interested in what her reply might be.

thks.

If you have an android phone, there is a app that you can download that can do exactly what ya want..... send me a pm and I will tell ya where to download it..

No luck with the Android, just the plain old phone. Spoof cards are everywhere on the net, but I need to spoof the outgoing, but keep the reply number correct but hidden.

Call from Skype. Unless something has changed the caller ID used to be five zeros and then random numbers or something like that.

maybe, a $10 tracfone? you wouldnt get the response on your phone but on the tracphone.

unless you need a certain number to show up on her phone.

This isn't a guy you're trying to fool. Why would a woman respond to a random pervert? I'm pretty sure she could pick up a guy in a bar any old time.

I need a specific number to be displayed. I think someone is getting too friendly, and I would want to send a fake message from my phone, but have it look like it came from the other phone. Then, I would see what type of reply my wife sends.

As of April of this year, it is illegal to spoof caller id information.

Any proof it is illegal? Everything I've seen so far says it remains legal?

If you have to even think about this, it is time to bail.

Yep I agree.. if you are so worried about it why don't you just talk to your wife about it?

that would work, but the return text would go to whatever number was entered as the call back number in the web page (and not fireguy129).

the problem with faking messages from the other guy's phone is that in order to make it return messages work, one would need to have the other guy's phone, or sim card (if one exists).

Why not just use a new number all together, and say "Hey it's _____" in the message?

Got Gmail? Want a Google Voice invite? Lemme know and I'll send you one. The # is great when you want a phone/vmail box for uses like Craigslist postings, etc.
